Management of Chest Wall Injuries

This presentation will discuss the recognition and management (non-surgical and surgical) of a variety of common and uncommon injuries to the chest wall, including sternum, ribs, and the costal margin.

Learning Objectives
  • 1) Identify and describe the management of injuries to the sternum and ribs
  • 2) Identify injuries to the costal margin, including intercostal hernia, costal margin rupture and diaphragmatic hernia
